Kristie D. Walton, MA, LPC, NCC is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas. She graduated May 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts/ Major in Behavioral Sciences and Minor/s in Psychology and Religion. Walton also attended graduate school at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. She graduated in December 2004 with a Master of Arts in Psychology. She began her professional counseling internship at Rockdale Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Rockdale, Texas. Internship experience also includes Bloom Counseling & Family Services, Corp in Houston, Texas; Agape Counseling Center in Baytown, Texas; and at Samaritan Counseling Center in San Angelo, Tx.
Walton has been practicing in the mental health field since 2004. She has worked with individuals across the lifespan. Walton's experience includes work with children, with adolescents in the criminal justice system, and late adolescence and emerging adulthood.
Walton has been in the Department of Behavioral Health at Community Health Network in Alvin, Texas since January 2019. Currently, Kristie Walton holds state licensure through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Licensed Professional Counselors (2005) and holds a certification from the National Board for Certified Counselors (2008).
